About Christian S Oliveros
Hello,
My name is Dr. Christian Oliveros, and I am an Assistant Professor and Pediatric Rheumatologist at the University of Florida’s Shands Children’s Hospital.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, followed by medical school at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University. Afterwards, I completed my General Pediatrics Residency training at Children’s Mercy Kansas City, before I completed my Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship at Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
I have a broad interest in treating various pediatric rheumatic diseases, with a particular focus on juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, chronic nonbacterial osteomyelitis, and juvenile dermatomyositis. In addition to clinical care, I am passionate about medical education and enjoy working with and mentoring the future physicians of Florida.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, I take great pride in working with a diverse range of patients and providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to individuals from all backgrounds.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, our son, and our dog!
